Swimrun moving on to the rugged Irish west coast

irland flagAfter Norway and Scotland being firmly established on the swimrun scene, we have impatiently been waiting for the first confirmed swimrun on the rugged shorelines of Ireland.

ireland mapIt is Breca, the organisers of Buttermere swimrun in the Lake District (UK), that has chosen the northwestern island Arranmore (Árainn Mhór) as the location of the 54k swimrun on August 20.
